Brandon Tomasello is an American vocalist renowned for his dedication to the Great American Songbook and the big band era. His passion for classic music brings timeless melodies to life with a modern flair.
At the age of 8, Brandon discovered his love for big band music after listening to records from his grandparents. This early exposure led him to appreciate the complex harmonies of saxophones, trumpets, and trombones.
At 19, Brandon showcased that big band music still resonated with his generation by opening at Resorts Casino Hotel’s Superstar Theater to a sold-out crowd in Atlantic City. This achievement led to a six-month residency, making him the youngest entertainer in Atlantic City history to have his own headlining extended stay show.
Throughout his career, Brandon has performed at venues including Borgata, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Harrah’s, and Tropicana. He has collaborated with notable artists such as SNL alumnus Joe Piscopo, who affectionately nicknamed him “The Kid.”
In 2020, Brandon released his first full-length studio album, “My Kind of Swing,” and in 2025 he released his most recent album with the City Rhythm Orchestra, “The Lost Sinatra - Basie” featuring never before heard arrangements written by Billy Byers for Frank Sinatra and the Count Basie Band.
Brandon continues to perform, sharing his love for the Great American Songbook and big band music with audiences nationwide. His dedication ensures that the golden age of swing remains alive and vibrant for new generations.
